The Pauquette Center for Psychological
Services provides emergency mental health and substance abuse services on
a twenty-four hour basis for current
patients of the Pauquette Center as well as residents of Columbia County.
Any current patient of
the Pauquette Center who attempts to contact his or her therapist during clinic
hours will be provided with direct and timely access to his or her therapist.
Whenever a present patient of the Pauquette Center attempts to contact
his or her primary therapist during clinic hours the clerical staff will make
every effort to contact the therapist, who, if available, will respond promptly
to the call. A emergency day
call clinician will respond if the primary clinician cannot be contacted.
A patient who attempts to contact his or her therapist after hours will
be provided with the clinician’s home telephone number or other direct access
telephone or paging number via the clinic telephone messaging system.
In the event that the primary therapist is unavailable, patients will be
provided with means to access emergency/crisis services via the emergency
on-call services system.
Current patients of the Pauquette Center
who are in crisis can
reach their therapist or the emergency on call clinician by calling 608-742-5518.
Residents of Columbia county who
are in crisis will have similar access to emergency services. During
business hours, the emergency day call clinician will respond to a caller in
crisis. The day call clinician can be reached at 608-742-5518. After
hours, callers will have access to emergency services by calling 608-742-5344.
If immediate assistance is needed, call 911.
Individuals in crisis who are not presently
patients at the Pauquette Center or who are not residents of Columbia County
should contact emergency resources available in their communities.
Routine matters such as scheduling or changing appointments should be handled
during our regular business hours.
